Today we're going to take a look at the SeaSucker Marine 4.5 inch vacuum mount, paddle clip, and grip. This mount is designed to attach to a nice flat surface, like a paddle board, using the vacuum mount. The pull rating on that vacuum mount is 120 pounds. When you install this, this will provide a nice standard paddle clip, right up here to hold your paddle into and the integrated handle right here is for carrying your board. You can also use the handle as a tie down point, basically, if you could tie things to it when you're paddling. It also come, you notice here, wit this hard plastic protective cap over the vacuum mount. That's all included.

The mount is black in color. This part is made in the USA. That does come with this tube of lubricant and what that's used for is to maintain the vacuum mount. Right here you have a plunger that you'll push down to apply the vacuum. Over time, if you get dirt and grime in there, it could build up and make the plunger stick and hard to operate.

What you can do is just pull the plunger out. There's a gasket in there you can wipe clean, put some lubricant on it, put the plunger back in and it'll be good as new. I do want to give you some dimensions on this. On the mount itself, the diameter is right at 4.5 inches, and the total depth when this is installed all the way out to here is going to be right at about four inches deep. Now, what I want to do is just demonstrate how this would install. I'm going to do it right here on the back wall.

All you have to do is just hold this up against your flat surface, just like that. Then you have your plunger here and you'll just keep pushing that plunger and you'll notice that orange ring on it. You'll just keep pushing that plunger and you'll notice that orange ring on it. You just keep pushing the plunger until that orange ring totally disappears. Just like that, after a few pumps, you can see it's disappeared.

You can see it's onto the wall very secure. Here's your clip for your paddle to go into and here's your handle to carry your board, or again, use as a tie down point. Nice thing about this thing, it's very simple to remove. There's a tab here by the plunger and one on this side. If you just pull on that tab with your finger or your thumb. If you pull that enough, it will release it. It's pretty hard to do, let's try the one on the bottom. There you go. Those tabs, you just have to push with your finger and it'll release the pressure.
